Courtney Baldwin, Senior Associate at Beattie, Westmont & Simpson, LLC, had the honor of presenting at the Family Law Institute in Vail, Colorado on August 7, 2026. The Family Law Institute is an annual conference held to educate Colorado family law practitioners, judicial officers, and experts. Ms. Baldwin lectured alongside attorney Carl Graham on ways to admit statements made by children in domestic relations cases. Ms. Baldwin’s presentation focused on exceptions to the rule against hearsay, as well as the admission of evidence concerning children’s wishes in parental responsibilities proceedings through common parenting experts
